Underwater pipeline inspection & aquatic systems

Clear sight
beneath the surface.

EMBRR inspects the pipelines and water systems you can’t see — combining ROV technology, specialist operators and marine science to keep critical infrastructure safe and the environment around it protected.

Who we are

Engineering insight with a marine scientist’s eye.

Subsea assets don’t sit in isolation — they live in complex, changing ecosystems. EMBRR brings inspection engineering and environmental research together, so every survey tells you how your infrastructure is performing and how it’s interacting with the water around it.

Services

Pipeline inspection

Visual, CP and burial-status surveys along subsea and inshore pipelines, flowlines and risers — logged, georeferenced and graded.

ROV survey

Observation and work-class ROV operations for general visual inspection, close visual inspection and seabed mapping.

Subsea intervention

Manipulator tasks, cleaning, sampling and light repair carried out with precision tooling and live topside oversight.

Aquatic systems

Intakes, outfalls, culverts, dams, tanks and aquaculture infrastructure — inspected in the water they work in.

Environmental assessment

Biodiversity and habitat baselines alongside every inspection, so asset integrity and ecology are understood together.

Data & reporting

Clear, decision-ready reports with annotated imagery, anomaly listings and recommendations your engineers can act on.

Inspection and survey for everything below the waterline.

Pipeline & cable inspection

Every metre accounted for.

From shore approaches to deep-water flowlines, we track your lines continuously — recording condition, coating, supports, free spans and exposure so nothing is left to assumption.

  • General & close visual inspection (GVI / CVI)

  • Free-span, burial and exposure assessment

  • Cathodic protection and coating checks

  • Anomaly logging with georeferenced imagery

ROV & submersible operations

Eyes where divers can’t go.

Our remotely operated vehicles carry HD cameras, sonar and sampling tools into deep, dark and hazardous water — keeping people safe on deck while the data streams live to the surface.

  • HD video and still imaging

  • Multibeam and imaging sonar

  • Manipulator tooling and sampling

  • Live topside viewing for clients

Environments

Every water. Every depth. Every colour.

Visibility, temperature and life change everything below the surface. We plan for each setting — not just the asset.

Our approach

One continuous line from brief to report.

  1. Scope

We review asset data, regulatory needs and site conditions to define exactly what needs to be seen.

  2. Mobilise

The right vehicle, sensors and team are matched to depth, current and visibility — then deployed safely.

  3. Inspect

Systematic survey with live video to the surface, so you can see what we see as it happens.

  4. Report

Findings, imagery and environmental observations delivered as a clear, actionable report.

Science-led. Safety-first. Built for the water.
